A handful of us from ESS volunteered for the Classic ski races at the Special Olympics Invitational this past week. Although only a half day it was an incredible experience. As in any athletic competition- some athletes were really impressed with their finish and others were incredibly disappointed. All and all, the competitors spirits were high and we definitely had a few good laughs! We had smiles on our faces and in our hearts and we can't wait to volunteer next year.
