I'm moving!

My blog that is...
I'm trying my hand at wordpress.
I haven't figured it out yet. I don't know if I can redirect this blog to that.
I don't know if I can bring my old posts over.
It is a work in progress.

Tricks for new bloggers

I have been trying to figure out how to put an image behind my blog title...all the images I insert are too large!
This site has some helpful information, http://tricks-for-new-bloggers.blogspot.com/
But I still can't figure it out.

I have some helpful instructions from Memories on Clover Lane, http://memoriesoncloverlane.blogspot.com/2009/08/tutorial-on-how-to-make-blog-banner.html
I just need to find time at home to do this. My computer at work will not me to download Picasa! I find it funny that I even tried that...

I have a LONG list of blog improvements so I need to learn all the tricks of the trade.
Anyone have any EASY ones they want to send my way?

Two things

Some loves of mine...
1. How I Met Your Mother - Monday nights

That show cracks me up. I have watched almost every episode (usually online over the weekends) and I just love it. Do you remember Doogie Howser MD circa 1998? Also an old fave of mine, same actor in both shows.

2. Janet Evanovich
I'm reading the 15th installment of her Stephanie Plum series, Finger Lickin' Fifteen.
The first book (One for the Money) came out in 1994 so I have been reading this series for a long time. It is light, funny, silly, sometimes steamy and not reality. It is a quick read and a nice way to relax at the end of the day. Kind of like a glass of red wine...oh wait, I had that too and hot chocolate with FLUFF (thanks to a fellow coworker that just got back from Boston).

So that's what I did last night. Watched my show and read my book. I'm well rested and productive today! All I need now are some tacos for tonight!

To run or not to run?

I had to laugh a little when I came across this article today:

WHY RUN? Amy Van Deusen for Women's Health Magazine
1. it's so easy
2. yet so hard
3. your knees will thank you
4. you'll stress less
5. it can prevent disease
6. you'll probably live longer

I so want to be a runner but I really don't enjoy it. I enjoy exercise but running just seems like a chore, I enjoy it less than working. Can I fit it into my workouts twice a week? I would really like to but can I? I will try tomorrow but we'll see...I can make a promise to myself that I will exercise but maybe not run. Right now I need to run for reason #4!

What happened to the fruit trees?

BSU

We were treated to the BSU game by Nancy & Bill. We had a really good time in the sea of blue & orange. The weather wasn't perfect but that sort of makes a football game more fun. We drank some really great beer at the Bittercreek Alehouse, my favorite was a ginger wheat. Cash got to come along and stay in our hotel room. She really enjoyed the QT with us. She was prancing around the city with a smile on her face. On the way home Sunday we hit some snow. Noooo
