A Birthday Surprise

Tonight we are celebrating my 30th birthday at a park in Hailey. Laura and Alex arrived on Tuesday so it will be nice to introduce them to everyone tonight!

Willie, the super duper husband he is, really wanted to make it a suprise. Well, when he sent the Evite to my email that was a surprise to me!

It may just be my birthday festivus weekend...my day started off with this (below) in the Miscellany section of the newspaper, right between a cedar fence and junk cars!

Miscellany For Issue of June 13, 2008

6 ft. Cedar Fence, New, 3 large double gates. 250 Linear Feet. Large enough for 6 ½ lots. Paid to have fence to put up, now needs to be taken down. $5,000 OBO. 727-1708

Happy 30th Birthday Jenna! Here's to many more! Love, Your ESS Family

Happy Golden Birthday Willie!

Willie turned 29 on May 29th!
We were joined by Willie's friends and family at Wiseguy Pizza.
When I took this picture he had just yelled out- 'no way' and laughed.
He had just walked in and saw that Erin and Benji got him Guitar Hero 3 for his bday present!

More Seattle pictures

Seattle

We had a great time in Seattle-did you know it is sunny and gorgeous there? I didn't see a drop of rain or clouds while I was visiting! The weekend started on the road-quick drive thanks to Susie and Rachel's company. Debbie and Robert's house in Edmonds has a BEAUTIFUL yard and view (Olympic Mountains and the ocean). Saturday's trail race was alot of fun although a bit challenging at times manuevering on the single track. Michael and Rachel did really well (of course)! The Public Market was another great event. We enjoyed walking around, tasting cheese at the festival and some fresh seafood! The bachelorette festivities kicked off at the Fairmont Hotel and we were whisked away for the rest of the evening in our limo. Some of the photos are rated NC-17 (?) so they will not be posted here! Rachel had a blast and we couldn't have been more excited to celebrate the end of her single life!
I'm really looking forward to the wedding to visit with this group again.

Narnia

Willie has been doing some backcountry skiing (yes in MAY) in a little place they like to call, Narnia. Here are some pictures that I know he would love to share. Photos courtesy of Zach Latham, ski organizer extraordinaire and photo genius!

Thank You

Amy, Jerry, Kristen and Justin-
Thanks for being such great friends. It meant so much to us to see you and we know it was not easy with your work schedules and distance. We hope to see you someday in SV! OR a reunion next summer w/ a DP!?

Good friends are like stars....You don't always see them, but you know they are always there.
