Scranton, PA
Willie & I traveled to Scranton, PA to see the Butlers for a surprise 40th Anniversary party for Susan & Jerry. Friday we arrived at the Zugel's gorgeous home-we were greeted by the Chiuppis/Souzas and GG and enjoyed a delicious dinner. Saturday the suprise party was a complete success and it was so great to see all my cousins. I got a chance to meet the wife/husband I have not met and see the most adorable children they all have! Willie was very happy to meet everyone as well! We spent a relaxing day on Sunday by the lake. We will miss all of you and can't wait to see you again!
Lyle/Latham Wedding

I'm going to start this post by saying that Sarah was the most gorgeous bride you have ever seen. The wedding was a beautiful Galena wedding. It was down home Idaho and very classy at the same time. We were treated to great company, food, drinks, decor, weather, music- Kim Stocking Band AND special guest, Jack Diamond.

We know Sarah and Zach are in wedded bliss-Congratulations!
Summer days drifting away
Is Summer coming to an end quickly or what?
Alex left on Sunday to spend some time at home before she heads back to school. We really enjoyed having her in Idaho with us and it is just not the same now that she is gone. Her jobs miss her, the dogs miss her and we miss her! Hopefully she will be back again for an extended stay. We have more to do AND she hasn't seen our winter yet! We ended her visit with a farewell BBQ and chocolate fondue!
And the winner is...
Sarah for being best bachelorette EVER!
We started the events out with beers and horseshoes before we moved on to sake and homemade sushi. From there it was off to check out the Sawtooth Music Festival and hit the hot spots in Stanley- Kasino Club and the Rod and Gun. If you ever have a chance to see the Jeremiah James Band, I highly recommend.
Sarah was such a sport...she had a smile on her face the entire evening and really gave us some good laughs! 10 days until the big day and we know it will be great!

Happy 20th Alex!
Alex is 20 and only 363 days until she is legal (but who's counting, right?).
We went horseback riding at Galena per her request. It was awesome.
We also went to dinner w/ Gloria, Nancy and Bill at Ciro and then a night on the town. At 3 AM (yes I stayed up that late!) we called it a night from the birthday festivities. Sunday morning Alex and I hiked up Baldy and took the chairlift down. Wish I had my camera-it was an amazing view and we had a great time.
