Thankful

The Thanksgiving holiday is this week. What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for...
My husband.

He cooks/cleans and feeds the dogs when I need to sleep in on Mondays.
He watches romantic comedies with me (all the time) and drops me off at the bus when I'm running late.
He never gives me too hard of time when I lose things or when I have double standards.
He has endless optimism, an infectious laugh and no jealousy.
The list goes on...most importantly, he really loves me.
My two families.
My job.
No explanation needed.
Dear friends near and far, old and new.
My girls.
Who ALWAYS put a smile on my face and make me feel special.
Everything.
Even rain.

"May we appreciate this food and remember those who are hungry. May we appreciate our family and friends and remember those who are alone. May we appreciate our health and remember those who are sick. May we appreciate the freedoms we have and remember those who suffer injustice and tyranny."

Spotlight

Its been quite a week! Nothing too fun and exciting to post on the blog at the moment.

Instead I'm putting the spotlight on ERIN RESKO!
We haven't seen Erin since September and we really miss her! She is doing great in Portland.

Check out her website:

Next week she will finally be back for a visit, we can't wait!

Visit to UT

Last weekend Willie, June and I headed to UT for a visit with the Reitz Family.
It was a quick visit but well worth the time spent with Julie, Jason, Berkley and Charlotte.

The girls are so cute, well-behaved and very smart!

Dog Tired

I have been trying to figure out a better way of connecting to friends and family that don't live in Idaho. I suggested Skype to my sister, Amanda last night hoping Willie and I could see our niece and nephews as they grow into little people. What I didn't realize was that I don't have a camera connected to my computer neither does Amanda. Oops. Anyway, I will just have to put that on my wish list. It got me thinking though, what is it I do in Idaho? Well on weeknights if I'm not 'socializing' as Willie likes to say, I'm usually standing by the fire to keep warm or falling asleep on the couch watching TV. Wow, so far this post sounds just like someone I know...Mom...

Willie took this picture of me last night to demonstrate a typical Jenna evening. I really love my girls.

This is Jeopardy!

Our Halloween costumes were a hit (to us!). It was alot of fun making a homemade costume w/ Burt Reynolds...I mean, Turd Ferguson...I mean, Sarah.
It was so interesting to see people's reactions when they realized Sean was really Jenna!
My sister Amanda will get a kick out of this statistic but I think I have dressed like a boy/man more than half of the Halloweens in my lifetime! Hmm...wonder if it has something to do with being in a family of 4 girls...Dad needed me to the boy he never had, tomboy that is!
To really appreciate my costume you need to check this out:

Happy Halloweenie

Halloween is a time of carved pumpkins, awesome costumes and CANDY!

I have a dentist appointment Monday at 8AM and I'm worried!
Here are some pictures that I snapped around town.
First Halloween costume of the day- Kristin!

Breakers Marathon- Newport, RI

On the last day of my trip I ran the Breakers Marathon as a team with Sam, Alex and Laura. Our team name was 2 Hens and a Chick and Lau (we added her to our team later). It was pretty chilly but the course was very scenic and we had a good time. We each met or exceeded our personal goals for our legs. The best part was seeing Britt throughout the course as she ran her 3rd marathon this year!
Results: 25th out of 85 teams
